Nokia Lumia 900 Rumoured for June Release Alongside Rumours of a Nokia Lumia 910

Hot from its’ unveiling at this years’ Consumer Electronics Show in Vegas, the Nokia Lumia 900 has just been rumoured for a European release this summer – June to be more precise.
The Lumia 900 is classed by Nokia CEO Stephen Elop as ‘designed specifically for the North American Market” and as such us Europeans are left to wonder if we’ll ever see the Nokia Lumia 800′s big brother on this side of the Atlantic.

If these new rumours are to be believed though, we won’t have to wait that long. WPCentral reported yesterday that Carphone Warehouse in the UK had posted a pre-ordering page on their website for the phone and a couple of days ago, Nokia Portugal noted that the 900 would reach their country sometime this year.
However as of today, both of these sources have been taken down which could mean a number of things such as Nokia requesting they stay quiet until an official release or that they were completely false and simply a mistake.

If that wasn’t enough, today speculation is rife on a Nokia Lumia 910 being the European equivalent to the 900 in the States and that it will release sometime around May with a 12MP camera – a significant bump from the 8MP found in the 800 and 900 at the moment.

Unfortunately this is all just rumour and speculation right now and we’ll have to wait for official confirmation from Nokia on when or if we’ll ever see the Lumia 900.
For now though, remember that the Lumia 800 is releasing in Ireland on February 1st and will be available with Vodafone.
