Panasonic Store Unveils Ireland’s First Panasonic Full-HD 3D TV
The Panasonic Store on Shannon St, Limerick will showcase the first Panasonic Full-HD 3D TV in Ireland at a launch event in the store this evening, Monday 22nd of March at 5pm.
Following on the worldwide success of Avatar, the movie industry is committed to a rapid increase in its output of 3D titles. At the same time Sky has announced that it will begin regular 3D TV broadcasts later this year. 3D TV and movies are all set to become part of everyday life.
Guests at the Panasonic Store this evening will be invited to experience Panasonic’s revolutionary Full-HD 3D TV at the launch, with a 3D video game demonstration of ‘James Cameron’s Avatar: The Game’ on a massive 65in Panasonic VIERA 3D Plasma TV. A 50in 3D TV will also be on display, as well as the new Panasonic 3D Blu-ray Player.
Panasonic recently announced its new range of Full-HD capable VIERA Plasma 3D TVs and a fully featured 3D Blu-ray Disc Player. Having evolved significantly, these ground-breaking models are set to bring a new era of immersive visual entertainment into consumers’ homes, creating a 3D experience that easily rivals that seen in the cinema.
By delivering a full 1080p-resolution image to each eye, Panasonic’s Full-HD 3D technology offers consumers the highest possible visual experience. To enjoy Full-HD 3D programming, users wear a stylish and lightweight pair of active-shutter eyewear.
As the VIERA sets are Full-HD TVs, they also display pristine 1080p content in two dimensions (2D) for conventional High-Definition viewing.
“Consumers have bought in to HD TV, but in reality many struggled to see the difference between HD-Ready sets and Full-HD sets”
commented Jean Tuohy, Panasonic Store, Limerick.
“They won’t have that problem with 3D TV. The pictures are stunning, they really grab your attention. We are really excited about being the first shop in Ireland to show this technology to our customers”.
The 50in Panasonic Full-HD 3D TV will arrive in April, and will be available from the Panasonic Store with an RRP of €2,449.99. The 65in will launch in June.
