Nokia Lumia 610 Launches in Ireland

Not long after the release of the Lumia 710 and Lumia 800, Nokia Ireland isn’t slowing down – starting today the Lumia 610 is available for Irish customers.

The first of the Lumia range to come with Wi-Fi tethering and a new ‘flip to silence’ feature (much like current HTC phones) and is aimed at an even more first-time smartphone owner market than the Lumia 710.

The Lumia 610 is also equipped with Windows Phone 7.5 (Mango, not Tango), a 5mp rear facing camera, 256MB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage.

As we said, this phone is aimed squarely at those among you who want to take your first step into smartphone ownership and comes with Xbox Live, Microsoft Office and Bing built in.

The People Hub helps to keep your Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook feeds together while a free 7GB of SkyDrive cloud storage is invaluable.
Be sure to check out our Lumia 710 and Lumia 800 reviews for what to expect with the fast and easy-to-use Windows Phone Operating System.

The Nokia Lumia 610 is available now in black and white from Vodafone, Meteor and O2 from this week from €179 on prepay and postpay will vary per operator depending on tariffs.
