Indie Game: The Movie (Trailer)

I’m not sure how this managed to slip past all my radars till right now, but I’ve just watched the trailer below and I’m stunned. This movie / documentary that tracks the development and the people involved in several high profile Indie Games looks amazing! I’m doing all I can to see where this will be shown in Ireland cause I have to see this. Having worked in the games development industry for almost 5 years and seeing this trailer, it brought back memories! Watch this trailer if you do nothing else for the rest of the week!

UPDATE: The movie will be available through Steam on June 12 (9dollars on pre-order and 10 as the normal price). It will also be on iTunes the same day!

Here’s the official info – Indie Game: The Movie is a feature documentary about video games, their creators and the craft. The film follows the dramatic journeys of indie game developers as they create their games, and as they release those works, and themselves, to the world.

Indie Game: The Movie is about making video games, but at its core, it’s about the creative process and exposing yourself through your work.
