Mass Effect 3 demo and beta blasts off this coming January
After hitting a serious delay last year, BioWare’s Mass Effect 3 received its official release date at E3 in June, where the publisher announced that the highly addicative RPG sequel would hit the shelves on PCs, the PlayStation 3, and the Xbox 360 on the 6th March, 2012.
Now, BioWare has announced a pre-release demo for the game this coming January via a post on the Bioware Social Network forums.
According to the announcement on the forum, the demo will include both single-player and multiplayer sections of the game.
But in a surprising move, BioWare also announced that players who purchased a copy of Battlefield 3 on any platform will automatically be granted access to the multiplayer part of the Mass Effect 3 demo, only if they activate the Online Pass for BF3. A tool posted on the game’s official site will let players check if their EA accounts have been granted early access.
So the we don’t know exactly when the ME3 demo will be released but rumour is that it will be announced in late November/ early December.
More on this as we get it.
