GameStop Top 10 Games (Multi-format) – 9th May

Here’s the Top 10 Games in Ireland, according to GameStop’s records, for last week!

Who knew killing Hitler could be so much fun? Rebellion did, that’s who! Sniper Elite V2 has made a stunning debut at the top spot in the top 10 games in Ireland chart this week.

It’s worth noting that Radical Entertainment’s stunning sandbox game, Prototype 2, CD Projekt’s The Witcher 2 and EA’s FIFA 12 have all take a knock down the charts, while the footie-trickster FIFA Street climbs one place. I’m happy to see the Mass Effect 3 climbing  back into peoples hearts and our Ireland’s top 10.

On a sad note, it’s with a heartfelt sorrow and humming the “Imperial March” theme tune that we must announce that Kinect Star Wars hyper-drives have failed and the game is now out of the running. So long dancing C3P0, we hope to see you again on console not “Far, Far Away”. (Ok final Star Wars pun)

So will Rebellion’s WWII satisfying shooting gallery be holding top spot again this time next week? Only time will tell…
