Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Primed to Launch at Midnight Tonight

The latest in the long running Call of Duty series, Modern Warfare 3, is almost upon us and while it’s official release isn’t until tomorrow, dedicated gamers can get their hands on a copy at midnight tonight if they just can’t wait.

As with most big game launches these days, stores across the country are holding special midnight launch events and with the juggernaut that it is, Call of Duty usually garners the biggest crowds.

The good news is you won’t be short of places to find a copy at midnight tonight, here’s a quick heads up on which stores are holding midnight launches.

GameStop will be opening 55 stores across the country and have special midnight launch prices for tonight only and if that wasn’t enough, they’re also selling a limited edition White PlayStation 320GB console starting from midnight and will cost €349.99 and includes 2 white controllers, a €25 PSN voucher and 2 white controllers.

GameStop will be running a trade in promotion against Modern Warfare 3 which will bag you the game for €3 if you trade in three games. The full list of trade in titles accepted for the deal can be found here.

Tesco Ireland are also joining in on the Call of Duty launch:
“Call of Duty MW3 will be available in the majority of Tesco Stores at 12am Tuesday 8th November in our 24hour Stores. We will be giving away a free copy to the first 5 customers in our 13 Tesco Extras throughout the country, just be one of the lucky first 5 in line to get it free. 

The 1st 70 people to buy MW3 in the 13 Tesco Extra Stores will also receive a free Pot Noodle and bottle of Mountain Dew so nothing will distract you from play.
Price details will be released on Tuesday. T&Cs apply”

GAME stores will also be opening up to 12 stores at midnight for the launch all across the country.
