Sony Tablet S Review

We got the chance to play with Sony’s first android tablet, the Sony Tablet S. The tablet comes in either 16GB or 32GB versions and both are WIFI only. It’s got a 9.4″ screen with Sony Bravia Mobile technology implemented to help create true blacks and vivid colour. The device has a unique shape which is pleasing on both the eye and in the hand. It has a 5MP camera on the rear and a VGA camera on the front for video calling. Unberneath, there is a 1GHZ dual-core processor with 1GB of RAM. The user interface is smooth and responsive running on top of Google’s android Honeycomb 3.2 OS. Overall this is a really nice tablet and one of the only true competitors to Apple’s iPad. This is a very impressive first entry from Sony and I’m extremely excited to see what they have plan in their future tablet devices.
