Swanky new phone but run out of juice?

With all the chatter coming from Barcelona at the MWC 2012 and the latest and greatest smart phones on the horizon here’s a great little extra.

 

I was recently giving my Sony CP-ElS (as a gift and for around €25, what a great stocking filler!). I know it’s not Christmas but it’s a really nice way to say thanks to someone you know who regularly runs out of battery in there phone.

The CP-ELS is smaller than the bigger CP-A2LS (4,000 mAh) but comes with 2000mAh capcity, which should be enough for a single charge of your smartphone. Both models can be fully charged via an AC outlet in around six hours. Also, a low self-discharge rate means that even after a year you should still have around 80% of your initial charge left. Handy to have in your backpack!
