Say Hello to Chill.com. Video sharing just got a lot more social!

Sick of having to jump from one social network site to another just to see the latest videos your friends have posted, be it of a ‘baby falling off it’s chair laughing’ or ‘the new blockbuster trailer’, well I think I have an answer to your problem.Chill.com is a new way for you to keep all the videos you love to watch and share in one place. You can sign up with your Facebook account (a clever move, I must say) and it will instantly pull a whole load of the videos you have previously posted on your wall to your new Chill profile, which gets the ball rolling straight away.

You then get the chance to follow who ever you like, there are even a few recommendations thrown in for good measure. It lets you link to your twitter account as well so when you do feel like posting your latest ‘amazing’ video find, you can post it to all three sites at once through Chill.

The layout is really slick and polished and the inclusion of buttons such as ‘Laugh’, ‘Frown’ and ‘Love’ for conveying your thoughts on a video is a step in the right direction. I love the whole social aspect of the site with pop-ups at the top of the screen telling you when people are watching the videos you’ve posted, what they thought of them and whether they reposted them or not. It’s also got a very handy tab at the top labelled ‘Popular’ which shows you what’s hot on the site. I’ve already found some brilliant videos on the site and look forward to what ever else is going to pop up on it!

 

Still in it’s early days, this site is showing a lot of potential and I find myself returning to it more and more which can only be a good sign.
