Reminder: Apple Event Tomorrow (9th Sept)

Ok,

So just a quick reminder about the planned Apple event tomorrow and what to expect. Fisrt off, Steve Jobs should be taking the stage again after his leave earlier this year. In terms of product updates the current rumors are:

1) Updates to the iPod line. Rumors include a 64gb iPod Touch.
2) An Entry level iPod Touch priced at ~150euro
3) Cameras in iPods – Both the Touch and the Nano (no word on Video, but supposed to be a 3.2mp one with a “flash”)
4) iPod Classic to be dropped
5) iTunes 9 to be launched with Social Networks Features (Facebook integration showing what your listening to etc…)

Oh and the WAAAAY out there rumor is that Apple will launch a Tablet Machine. Personally, I can’t see this happening, but what potentially could happen but really hasn’t been discussed is they release an iPod Touch with a larger screen and higher resolution, something about the 5ish Inch mark would be a sweet spot!.
All we can do now is wait and see and of course we’ll be updating as soon as it all kicks off tomorrow at 5pm (Dublin time).
